Medlink recognises however that our delegates come from a wide variety of educational backgrounds, are applying to a wide range of institutions, including in some cases, Oxford and Cambridge, and have different aspirations and needs in terms of the level of support they would wish to have. For that reason Medlink has been designed so that every delegate can build on the Core Medlink experience to produce a complete conference that is personalised exactly to their own individual needs and requirements.

The Oxbridge Session

Applying to medical school is daunting; Oxford and Cambridge in particular offer challenges to the prospective medical student. In this optional session the process of applying is demystified and the rules for making a successful application are explored. Hear our experienced tutors talk on admissions to Oxford and Cambridge Medical Schools.

The Pathology Day

For those who want more depth in a subject field, we are delighted to offer Medlink delegates an optional additional two days of presentations and a project whose theme is the fascinating field of pathology. As well as presentations on a variety of topics from Bio-terrorism to Neuro-pathology, there is a unique opportunity to do research and publish a paper.

The Chemistry A* Session

Chemistry is essential for the prospective medical student. Your goal should be to obtain an A* grade. An optional three-hour session open ONLY to delegates on the Pathology course. Hear from an A-Level examiner what is required and learn practical techniques to achieve that important A* grade.

The Premium Experience Package

The options included in this package are upgrades and enhancements that have been chosen by the Medlink Team as offering prospective medical students an opportunity to augment their experience of the Medlink course. Taken together these premium support options aim to improve and enhance a successful application and seek to provide you with an edge.

The EDGE Session

The Edge has earned repeated standing ovations from students who felt that the session made a real difference to their prospects of becoming a medical student. On the online notice-boards it was the most talked about session. No advice or session can guarantee anyone a place at medical school, but The Edge does do what it promises - to improve your chances.

The Pre-Medlink Day

Embracing the opportunities offered by Medlink is the key to preparing for a successful application to medical school. For this reason we are delighted to offer a Pre-Medlink Day, including a campus tour and a practice UKCAT test, that will ensure you are equipped and prepared to make the most of the incredible possibilities opened up by Medlink.
